该大学的 online master of arts (M.A.)在数学上 is geared toward high school teachers who want to become certified to teach dual credit courses, or for those wishing to teach mathematics at the collegiate level.

  • 数学M.A. Program includes 36 credits that can be completed entirely online in three to five years of part-time study.  学生 who wish to pursue the degree full-time can complete the 程序 in two years.
  • A major benefit of the 程序 is its flexibility. Taking advantage of the asynchronous online format, many students hold a full-time job as they work through their degree. It is also common for a student to pursue academics full-time 和 finish the degree very quickly due to a wide range of summer course offerings.
  • 的 程序 includes mathematics coursework in areas such as algebra, 几何, probability 和 statistics, 分析, 和 discrete mathematics. 除了, students select courses from areas such as instructional innovation, learning theory 和 instructional strategies, 和 educational psychology.  学生 also complete an advanced teaching methods course as well as a mathematics research course.
  • All courses are offered online. 校园 visits are not required.
